Men’s Group
Our Men’s Group continues to meet on Wednesdays at 10 am in the Conference Room for fellowship, study, and prayer. We take time at the end of our gathering to share our concerns, for ourselves, for our loved-ones, and for the world. Then we pray together. Each of us values this time of sharing, learning, and enjoying each other’s company! Come enjoy a cup of coffee and some really great guys!
Choir Rehearsal–2025
The choir rehearses for Sunday morning worship services on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 to 8:00 pm, and has a warm-up on Sunday Mornings at 9:30 am.
Installation of Pastor
Rev. Jeff W. Rumble will be installed as Pastor of Spanish Springs Presbyterian Church on January 26, 2025, at an afternoon service. Further details will be published when available.
Deacons’ Meeting
A Meeting of the Spanish Springs Presbyterian Church Board of Deacons The May meeting will be held on May 20, 2024, due to Memorial Day falling on the fourth Monday. The meeting is regularly scheduled for the fourth Monday of the month at 10:00 AM. There is no meeting scheduled in the month of July. Deacons will meet at Spanish Springs Presbyterian Church in the Conference Room.
Presbyterian Women–2024-2025
Please note that the January 2025 meeting has been changed to January 27. Presbyterian Women meetings for 2024-2025 will be held in Fellowship Hall on the third Monday of the month, September through May. Veterans Guest House
Veterans Guest House HELP WANTED/NEEDED!!! Veterans Guest House Spanish Springs Presbyterian Church has been a partner with the Veterans Guest House of Reno by providing home-cooked meals to veterans and their families on a monthly basis. The team has met, planned menus, delivered meals, and spent time visiting with those staying at the facility. At Spanish Springs Presbyterian Church, the Ash Wednesday service with Communion and Imposition of Ashes will be held on March 5, 2025. Ash Wednesday is a Christian holy day of prayer and fasting. It is preceded by Shrove Tuesday and falls on the first day of Lent, the six weeks of penitence before Easter. Ash Wednesday is traditionally observed by Western Christians. It is observed by Catholics in the Roman Rite, Anglicans, Lutherans, Methodists, Moravians, and Independent Catholics, as well as by many from the Reformed faith (inclusive of the Congregationalist, Continental Reformed, and Presbyterian traditions).
