Grief, Loss and Healing Support Group
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3
Grief is a normal and natural reaction to a significant loss (i.e. death of a loved one, end of a relationship, loss of a job, loss of health, etc.). We all have or will experience some form of loss in our lifetime. The journey is different for everyone and can be overwhelming and immobilizing; sometimes contributing to feelings of loneliness, confusion, anger and hopelessness.
Grief is harder than you think, but you don’t have to grieve alone…
SSPC is offering an eight-week Grief and Loss Support Group, facilitated by Melissa M. and Dawn D., beginning Monday, March 23rd from 4-6 PM in the Fellowship Hall.
If you or someone you know is experiencing grief over a recent or not so recent loss, this support group is for YOU. Contact Melissa or Dawn for more information or to register.
Recovering from an emotional loss is not an easy task. It’s never too soon to address your grief.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4
